Tropical Cyclone Kimi has formed off the coast of Far North Queensland. The Category One system is expected to make landfall tomorrow morning.

Kimba Wong from the Bureau of Meteorology says it may also develop into a Category 2, with some wet and windy weather expected for Queensland’s tropics.
