#ThrowbackThursday this week acknowledges the late Kerry Greensill who was an integral part of the QAS Baby Capsule Hire Service for many years from its inception in 1992.

Most ambulance stations in Queensland participated in this service as part of a wider QAS Community Services program focused on community safety. Baby capsules are proven to be the safest transport for babies under six months old – but they can be expensive. Many families hire baby capsules as a much cheaper alternative and, as an added bonus, you don’t have a big bulky capsule taking up space in storage waiting for the next baby to come along!
